The KBD D/UV Vitamin D ultraviolet lamp was developed in 2006 for individuals who may not be able to receive needed sunlight exposure or tolerate Vitamin D supplements. It is an ultraviolet lamp that produces UV rays similar to sunlight that helps the body generate Vitamin D without tanning. The KBD D/UV Vitamin D lamp is our most popular ultraviolet lamp. It is made in the U.S.A. of sturdy materials for years of easy, safe use. It comes fully assembled and ready to use. The lamp is adjustable within the included table stand as well as within the optional floorstand.

The KBD D/UV ultraviolet lamp is powerful, yet compact. It is 12" x 8" x 5" and weighs just six pounds. The D/UV lamp does not use magnetic ballasts. It uses electric resistance ballasts which safely power the lamp.
